Transition Curriculum
Developing Self-Determination Course Unit 1 Self- Determination: This four-lesson unit allows students to explore the skills to feel empowered to direct their lives. They will also take a closer look at what motivates them, the power of a positive attitude, and the value of a mentor.SEL for Transition
Building Social Awareness Course Unit 1 Perspective: This four-lesson unit encourages students to understand what perspective is and what it means to have different points of view. They will also apply their learnings through role-playing social cues and emotional space.Social Emotional Learning
Unit Relationship Skills: This five-lesson unit allows students to analyze the relationships in their lives and understand the value this adds to their lives. Each learner will gain a deeper understanding of healthy relationships and gain skills to navigate when relationships change.
