[Grades & results](https://support.orilearning.com/knowledge/teachers?hsLang=en#grades-results) # Why lessons are greyed out on course progress, and who can see progress In 'Progress', lessons you've left out of a student's assignment show grey and striped ('Hidden'). The student doesn't see them in their course. The lesson they're on shows blue. **For:** teachers ### Check what the colors in 'Progress' mean In 'Progress', white means 'Not Started', blue means 'In Progress', green means 'Completed' and shows the score, and grey stripes mean 'Hidden' (the student can't open it yet). A grey, striped lesson is one you left out of that student's assignment. To give it to them, change which lessons are in their assignment: see [Add a late student or more units to an existing assignment](https://support.orilearning.com/knowledge/add-students-or-units-to-an-assignment?hsLang=en). ### If the student sees greyed-out lessons If a lesson looks greyed out in 'Courses', it can't be opened yet. For the reasons a student can't open a lesson, see [A student can't see or open an assigned lesson](https://support.orilearning.com/knowledge/student-cant-open-an-assigned-lesson?hsLang=en). ### Check that you've chosen a class 'Progress', 'Sessions' and 'Activity' appear only when you've chosen a class in the menu at the top, and 'Progress' only if you have students in that class. 'Course Material' appears only for a course you have a license for. School and district admins without their own students see only 'Course Material'. ### Still need help?
