Learn what is behind the name change.
In 2011, I created an iPad app focused on communication and essential life skills. A huge inspiration for that app was my younger brother, Oriel, who has lived with nonverbal autism his entire life. That app would plant the seed for what would become ONEder. While the organization has focused on different products and services over the years, our overall mission has always been to improve the lives of all students by making life skills easier to learn and teach.
As we begin a new chapter in our history, I wanted to choose a name that fits our new identity, ongoing purpose, and mission. By choosing Ori, I think we've done that. But that's just the beginning of what you'll see from us in the coming weeks and months.
I hope you're as excited as we are to unveil our new identity and offerings. Until then, I hope you have a relaxing, exciting, and inspirational Summer.
