What accommodations are available to students?

The platform includes embedded accommodations such as language translation, text-to-speech, read-aloud, voice typing, large text and notification sounds.

Teachers should guide students in enabling these settings on their personal devices. These settings cannot be changed from the teacher's device and must be set up individually on each student's device. Once the initial settings are set, they will be saved automatically for each student's future logins.

Included accommodations consist of:

  • Language Translation

Students can easily translate text into their preferred language by selecting it and clicking the "Translate" button. They can also listen to the translated text using the "Read Aloud" feature. If needed, students can contact us for assistance with unavailable languages. Additionally, they can enable "Translate answers on click" for instant translation of answers.

  • Text-to-speech for Read Aloud and Text Highlighting

This feature allows students to control text playback, pause, and move through the content while having it read aloud and highlighted. They can also select specific sentences or paragraphs to be read aloud by clicking the "Read Aloud" button.

  • Voice typing allows students to convert their spoken words into text. By simply selecting the 'Microphone' icon in the question response box, students can easily utilize this feature when answering written response questions.
  • Large text option allows students to increase the size of the text on the screen by adjusting the zoom scale.
  • Notification Sound

A sound will play when a notification pops up.
