Quick Guide: Steps to Teach Tomorrow

Preview Courses, Assign Students to a Session, Deliver the Lesson, Close the Lesson, Recommendations

Preview the available courses.

  1. Go to the Courses Tab on the teacher screen and select your desired course.
  2. Select the lesson you wish to teach.
  3. Click the preview button to access the pre-made presentation with embedded assessment questions and navigate using the purple arrows.
  4. Access the lesson plans to outline your class strategy.
  5. Choose the lesson delivery method: live participation, student-paced learning, or front-of-class instruction.
  6. Review additional worksheets for possible activity modifications, then decide on digital sharing or printing for students.

Assigning Students to an Assignment
  1. Create a new assignment by clicking on the + new assignment button.
  2. Select the delivery mode that fits your teaching style, with roles defined for both teachers and students.
  3. Proceed to the next step.
  4. Select specific lesson parts to share after previewing.
  5. Adjust collaboration board toggles for live or student-paced mode.
  6. Proceed to the next step.
  7. Select students from the entire class, specific individuals, or those with a unique code.
  8. Click on the "Select start" button to begin the lesson with your students.

Present the Lesson

Front of Class:

  1. To start the lesson, just open the session.
  2. Use the purple arrows to smoothly move through the lesson content.
  3. In front-of-class mode, engage and collect responses from students during the lesson.
  4. After a lesson, adjust grading as needed and close the assignment.
  5. After a lesson, review the progress tab on the course dashboard for grading or feedback needs.

Live Participation:

  1. Give students their login details and help them access the platform efficiently by directing them to app.orilearning.com.
  2. Open the presentation to kickstart the lesson.
  3. Use purple arrows to navigate lesson content, syncing with students' pages as you move forward.
  4. In live mode, use the left tab to view active student participation.
  5. During live mode, share student responses to enhance discussions. Recommend students use headphones for optimized video playback.
  6. After finishing the lesson, adjust grading as needed and close the assignment.
  7. Switch students to student-paced mode if they haven't completed the lesson, enabling them to work at their own pace.
  8. Review questions for grading or feedback on the course dashboard's progress tab.

Student-Paced: 

  1. Give students their login details and help them access the platform efficiently by directing them to app.orilearning.com.
  2. Students can commence the lesson by clicking on the play button on the course player (black box at the top) found on the 'Home' screen.
  3. Once you have completed a lesson, feel free to make any necessary grading adjustments before closing the assignment.
  4. Head back to the course dashboard and check out the progress tab to review any questions that may require further grading or feedback.
