# What is Ori? Courses, format and how it's taught

Ori Learning is a web-based curriculum that teachers deliver to their classes. Schools and districts buy it.

**For:** teachers, admins and anyone new to Ori

### Two curricula

Ori has two curricula: the Transition curriculum (special education transition, for high school and 18+) and the Emotional Well-Being curriculum (grades 6 to 12). Financial Literacy courses are sold alongside Transition as their own line. Each is licensed separately.

### Who it's written for

Both curricula are written for secondary students. The Transition curriculum is written for students with mild to moderate needs. The Emotional Well-Being curriculum is used in general classrooms and in behavior intervention classrooms.

### How it's taught

You can teach each lesson yourself or let students work at their own pace, using one of three delivery modes: 'Front of Class', 'Live Participation' or 'Student Paced'. Ori doesn't run on its own: you assign lessons, see students' answers and grade what needs grading.
