What students see after signing in

Students open their assigned work from 'Continue Learning:' or 'My Assignments' on 'Home'. They don't need a code for work assigned to them. The student portal has three pages: 'Home', 'Activity' and 'Courses'.

What's on 'Home'

On 'Home', students see a 'Continue Learning:' card with an 'Open' button, a 'Got a code?' box for joining a lesson, and 'My Assignments' with 'Active' and 'Completed' tabs.

'Continue Learning:' shows the lesson the student opened most recently, which isn't always the newest assignment. Newer work is under 'My Assignments'.

'Got a code?' is for joining a session a teacher shares by code. How it works: Share a session with students.

When new work appears

Students see new assignments on 'Home' when they sign in. Nothing is emailed to them. This applies once the student is in the class and has a license. If students are waiting for an email about new work, have them sign in and look for it there.

Moving through a course

There's no 'Restart' button on a student's course. The whole course card opens it.

Finish and submit an assessment:

  1. Answer every question.
  2. On the last page, click 'I'm Done'.
  3. 'Home' shows 'Session completed successfully', and the item moves to 'Completed' under 'My Assignments'.

Where scores and feedback show up: Where students see their grades and progress.

Update a profile or password

Students update their profile by clicking their initials in the top right, choosing 'My Account', then 'Edit profile' and 'Save'. They change their password with 'Change Password...'.
