Sign in as a teacher

Go to app.orilearning.com and click the purple 'Teacher Sign In / Register' at the top right. Use that button, not 'Admin Sign In' or 'Student Sign In'.

Before you start

Your school or district admin creates your Ori account. You may get a welcome email with a link to set your password. If you can't find it, or the link has expired, click 'Forgot password?' on the sign-in page to get a new link.

Sign in on the 'Teacher Portal' page

The 'Teacher Portal' sign-in page offers 'Username' and 'Password', 'Forgot password?', and 'Sign In with Google', 'Sign In with Microsoft', 'Sign In with Clever' and 'Sign In with ClassLink'. New teachers see 'Create New Account' under 'New to Ori?'. Open it from 'Teacher Sign In / Register' on app.orilearning.com each time: the sign-in page's own address can't be bookmarked.

On the 'Teacher Portal' page, sign in the way your district set up: type your 'Username' and 'Password' and click 'Sign In', or click your district's 'Sign In with …' button. Your teacher dashboard opens.

Your district decides how its teachers and students sign in to Ori: with a username and password, or with a Google, Microsoft, Clever or ClassLink account. If you're not sure which your district uses, ask your school or district admin. Don't know who your admin is? We'll tell you their name.

If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, Clever or ClassLink

If your district uses Google, Microsoft, Clever or ClassLink, click that 'Sign In with …' button and leave 'Username' and 'Password' empty. If you're taken to a Google, Microsoft, Clever or ClassLink page, sign in there with your school account.

If you sign in with a 'Sign In with …' button, your password belongs to your Google, Microsoft, Clever or ClassLink account, not to Ori. Resetting an Ori password won't change it. Your district IT team looks after that account.

If you forgot your password

If your account has an email address, you can reset your own password from the sign-in page.

  1. Click 'Forgot password?'.
  2. In 'Email', type the email address on your Ori account.
  3. Click 'Send'.
  4. Open the 'Reset Your Password' email and click the link.
  5. Type your new password in 'New password' and 'Confirm password', then click 'Continue'.

After you click 'Send', Ori tells you it has sent the email. If you don't see it in your inbox, check your junk or spam folder. The link in a password email works for 24 hours. If it has expired, click 'Forgot password?' on the sign-in page to get a new one.

If you still can't sign in
