What Ori support can do, and how to reach us
Most things you can do yourself or with your school or district admin (or your district IT team, if your rosters come from Clever or ClassLink). Some things only we can do, such as moving an account to another district, merging duplicate accounts, adding or extending licenses, and billing paperwork. For those, send us a request.
For: everyone
Who can send a request
Anyone can send us a request. You don't need to be an admin, and any email address works. Send us a request and we'll follow up by email.
If you're asking about someone else's account, their teacher or admin can usually help fastest, and we'll tell you who that is. You can still send us the request. If the answer depends on your role, we may ask whether you're an admin. We'll take your request either way.
How we reply
You can chat with us from inside Ori when someone is available. We reply from support@orilearning.com, on your request, or in chat.
What we don't do in chat
We don't give out account information in chat, such as seat counts, license or subscription dates, which courses your district bought, renewal, invoice, purchase order or payment status, who the purchaser or billing contact is, or usage. Nothing about your account is changed in chat. To ask about any of these, send us a request and we'll follow up by email. The one thing we can tell you right away is who your admin is: see Who is my district's Ori admin?.
Ori never asks for your password and never sends a password by email, chat or phone. We never send student information by chat or email either.
Where else to look
What to include
- what you need, and your district and school
- for a student, their username and class name
Don't include passwords, student names, dates of birth, ID numbers, health or IEP details, or payment details in a request. A student's username and class name are all we need. If you send a screenshot, crop out student names. Don't attach a class roster or student list to a request. If we need a list from you, we'll tell you how to send it securely.
Send us a request — or, if someone is available, chat with us. You can also email support@orilearning.com with the same details.
What happens next: we'll acknowledge your request, come back to you if we need to confirm anything, and tell you when it's done.
